This particular design morphed from one of those cute, flannel baby blankets. I thought it would be fun to make these as table toppers using coordinating cotton. I liked how they turned out and then I took it a step further and embellished corners with wool. I use table toppers all the time when I am decorating. They warm up any vignette. They would be cute on side tables or sofa tables.
